Jérémie ROUSSIER
Jérémie Roussier was born in 1979 in Cavaillon, southern France. At a very young age, Jérémie discovered a passion for drawing. Later, his artistic inclinations led him to enroll in a graphic arts school. In 2009, after working in a communications agency, he decided to go freelance as a graphic designer and illustrator. He used his creative talent and technical expertise to create visual identities, graphic compositions, and book covers. An opportunity arose to create a series of images for a book. This collaboration rekindled his deep desire: to create graphic compositions. Driven by his desire to explore new horizons, he explored the world of video as an editor and director. This new skill led him to direct a music video for a French artist. He is very drawn to digital art, particularly that of Patrick Clair. In his portraits, he draws inspiration from the cinematographic codes of Emmanuel Lubezki, Roger Deakins, Larry Fong. He also likes to draw inspiration from the works of the Renaissance and artists such as Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci. For him, his artistic work is intended to be a source of light, life, hope, and spiritual reflections. He likes to awaken powerful and deep emotions in others. Today, he wants to devote himself fully to it. Creating is for him the way to express his understanding of the world, to identify its challenges, its beauty but also its harshness.
