Céline Ranger was born in 1972 in Touraine. She currently lives and works in the Nantes region. After a childhood and adolescence that revealed her passion for drawing, sculpture, and painting, she moved to Paris to pursue advanced studies in applied arts at the Boulle School and then at the Estienne School. She also studied for several months at the National College of Art and Design in Dublin. She then worked for nearly eight years in the creative department of various communications agencies. Painting, like a faithful friend, was always there to accompany her, to the point that she eventually, in response to a visceral need, devoted herself entirely to her art. At the end of 2006, she entered the gallery. Since then, she has been digging and delving, like an archaeologist, exploring the infinite facets of the feminine soul through portraits. She reveals the ineffable, wanders along the thread of the intimate, playing with its ramifications, its depths, its paradoxes… Her delicate and sensitive painting creates a mirror of intimacy, subtly combining vaporous glazes and subtle interplays of materials. Since then, her work has been exhibited regularly in France and abroad.
