Biography

Born in 1957 in Wilrijk, Belgium, Philippe Timmermans attended the courses of

sculpture at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent. After his studies, he

devoted more than thirty years to the creation of three-dimensional prototypes and to the

production of orders for museums, advertising design, institutions

cultural and mannequin manufacturers. In 2011, he made a decisive turning point:

breaking away from orders, he decides to devote himself exclusively to his

own creations. Located in the Flemish Ardennes, in Zottegem, his workshop is

became the center of a creative meditation where he shapes clay with passion.
