Biography

Richard Texier is a French painter and sculptor born in Niort on June 28, 1955. He lives and works in Paris, in the Butte-aux-Cailles district.


After a childhood in the Marais Poitevin, Richard Texier moved to Paris in 1973 where he studied art and architecture (graduating from the École Spéciale d'Architecture), then a doctorate in plastic arts at the Panthéon-Sorbonne University.
