Biography
A Campbell painting is typically multi-layered and complex, regardless of the subject. The palimpsest of past works reveals itself over time, inviting the viewer to examine it more closely. Campbell has much to say as an artist, and discovering the breadth of his visual "language" over time is one of the main attractions of his work. The pleasure of discovery has delighted his audiences since his first exhibition in 1989.
