Biography
Florent Poujade transforms common metal into noble metal, as if by alchemy… Each abandoned piece reveals itself in the relationship that binds it to others. His approach is more akin to the work of a philosopher since it is for him to build a recognized entity, a group looked at, from single and abandoned elements. His creation is inspired by his humanist desires and his chance encounters, most often metallic debris, shared references, bones, skeletons, horns, antlers… He likes to cross popular heritage with current art, and if he focuses on abandonment to make it beautiful, it is to show that no one deserves this, that the simplest things can be the most beautiful… You…
