Biography
Born in 1952, a self-taught painter by family genes (!), his first paintings, strongly influenced by the pointillist works of Seurat and Signac, date from the 80s. In the 90s, his work was essentially decorative and focused on the mountain. Over time, his work increasingly led him to explore the ranges of white born from light and in all his works, we observe the care he takes with nuances from the 2000s.
The work on doodles began in 2015. The first works on paper in their current form were created in 2017. Using this technique, Didier Terme restores forms that give us several readings. Depending on whether we are close to the work or far…
