Biography
Giap Tuan was born in 1983 in Bac Giang, a suburb of Hanoi, Vietnam.
The main and secondary streets, as well as the corners of the old streets of Hanoi, entered into his works like a lasting love, evolving and changing with time and years.
Old houses or rows of streets, tightly interwoven with electric wires, are depicted. Sometimes tree branches extend, showing their colors according to the seasons, swaying in the wind.
With these splashes of color, Giap Tuan seems to want to repeat over and over again "I love my city" .....and "I want to drape it in the magic cloak that changes color with the seasons of spring, summer, autumn and winter".
