Biography
Alain Cassaigne has always had a keen eye for automobiles in all their forms. A karting champion and driver, a collector of toy cars, and an owner of vintage vehicles, his current approach, born of maturity, has become a legitimately obvious one. A professional artist for 25 years, he has recently begun working under the ALCA brand on his unique automotive "monsters" with an immoderate taste for dreams. Today, he enjoys international recognition and renown.
ALCA's automotive creatures transport us into a dreamlike world of fantasy films, comics, and old images from the early 20th century, but these automotive sculptures don't aim to copy existing models. The point is to explore, to surprise, to seduce…
