Biography
Eric Robin was born in 1958 in Romans sur Isère in the Drôme. He lives and works in Salon de Provence.
He was introduced to painting at the age of nine by his uncle, a painter.
He worked as a window dresser for luxury ready-to-wear boutiques, creating his own decor. In 1992, he opened a space dedicated to art in Salon de Provence: an art gallery, selling fine art materials and frames. From this artistic environment, his first creations and exhibitions were born.
Since 1998, he has been developing an abstract body of work imbued with transparency and vibration. This work is obtained through the technique of copper leaf oxidation (gilding), which he has perfected…
